Our friends at Sports Purpose, based on the well-known Bicester Heritage site, invited us to take part in the Spring Scramble with them on Sunday 21st April. Alongside their array of iconic road cars, Pursuit brought the motorsport flair to the day: bringing along two Aston Martin race cars with a ton of history behind them.
The Pursuit-recommissioned Aston Martin Vantage GT2 chassis 001 (brought back to life by our team in 2023 as a pair alongside chassis 002), as well as Aston Martin DBR9 GT1 chassis 001. Having two chassis 001 titans next to each other at the scramble drew the masses, and it was great to see so much buzz around these memorable racers.
We also provided artist, Jake Yorath, with Audi R8 GT3 for the event. Jake was exhibiting his fantastic array of graphic art at the Scramble, as he’s done many times before, and approached Pursuit about the possibility of creating a new piece based on one of our cars, which we would then bring to the event to display next to the newly finished piece.
Many of the Pursuit team attended the event and the sunshine certainly brought in the crowds. We’re excited to attend and be part of future Scrambles! Check out the highlights from the day below…
