Pursuit’s 2024 season comes to a close

After 9 months, over 40 tests and race events, half a dozen countries, countless laps on track and miles covered on the road, Pursuit’s 2024 season has come to a close on home turf: at Silverstone for Motor Racing Legends’ Silverstone GP.

October 22, 2024

Our committed team ensured a smooth year, with very few technical failures and great success across the various race series for our drivers. The team supported our drivers through international Peter Auto and Masters events and UK-based Motor Racing Legends and Equipe race weekends, even starting the season in Spain with Pursuit’s very first Private International Test. We’ve run countless Fifties and Sixties cars, as well as more modern LMP3 and GT cars – all the way from GT3 to GT1.

Pursuit ended the season in style by sending two powerhouse GT3 cars out in the debut race of the new GT3 Legends series with Motor Racing Legends. The BMW Z4 GT3 and Audi R8 LMS GT3 hit the track among other modern motorsport legends from 2006 to 2012. We’re excited to see this brand-new series take shape in 2025, with plenty more Pursuit cars filling the grids!

This season has brought us even more success and fun on track than we’ve had before. Some of the highlights include:

• Pursuit’s first ever 3-day international test at Guadix Circuit in Spain – stay tuned to see what we have planned for next year’s test…

• Taking the Pursuit-recommissioned Aston Martin DBR9 001 and Vantage GT2 001 to our first appearance at the Bicester Heritage Scramble in April.

• Getting our drivers in their Jaguar E-Type YRP999 to the finish line of Pursuit’s first ever tour event: Peter Auto’s Tour Auto in April.

• Seeing the Audi R8 LMS GT3 take part in the Crowdstrike Spa 24hrs support race and parade.

And, as always, we’ve had an awesome range of projects moving through the workshop over the racing season. From the recently completed refresh of the Bowler Nemesis to the full BMW Z4 GT3 recommission that’s in progress right now.

We’re proud to have reached the end of another great season, with just a couple of tests and shakedowns left to run in the wind-down to the festive period. We’re looking forward to an even busier 2025 season, with more cars and drivers coming on board, as well as more project action in the workshop.

Keep up with everything that’s going on on our socials.
